After the initial roof rack installation, ensure all bolted connections are secure. Regularly inspect them every 1000 kilometers (621 miles) depending on use and conditions. Re-check connections after each re-fitting.

Do not overload your luggage, and consider the weight of a roof rack basket within the load capacity of the bars. Before going through an automatic car wash, remove the roof rack crossbars to prevent scratching and potential damage to your vehicle. If your crossbars are making noise due to an unexpected gap, use the black tape included to cover it, although we hope this will not be necessary.
